Refund Policy

Last updated: · Version 1.0

This policy covers purchases of coins, the virtual item used to send gifts on YooTalk. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Coin purchases are final

Coins are delivered to your account immediately and are a licence to use a feature of the app, not money. Coin purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or as described below. Coins you have already spent on gifts cannot be refunded.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. For example, if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you agree when buying that coins are delivered immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery begins.

Google Play purchases

Purchases made on Android through Google Play are processed by Google. To request a refund, use Google Play's refund process: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. Google decides on these requests under its policies.

App Store purchases

Purchases made on iPhone or iPad through the App Store are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides on these requests under its policies.

Other payment methods

Where we offer other payment methods in your region (for example Stripe, Razorpay or Flutterwave), contact us at support@yootalk.live within 14 days of the purchase if something went wrong. We will review the request under this policy and applicable law.

Failed or missing purchases

If you were charged but coins did not arrive, or you were charged twice:

  1. Restart the app and check your coin balance again. Delivery is usually instant but can occasionally take a few minutes.
  2. If the coins are still missing, email support@yootalk.live with your YooTalk username, the purchase date, the amount, and the order or receipt number (Google Play order numbers start with "GPA."; Apple receipts are in your email).

We will credit the coins or arrange a refund for confirmed failed or duplicate charges.

Chargebacks and fraud

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card provider, we may deduct the coins or freeze the account while the dispute is resolved. Abuse of refunds or chargebacks, including after sending gifts, may lead to account suspension. Hosts' earnings from gifts that are later charged back may be reversed under the Creator Earnings Terms.
