You can delete your YooTalk account and the personal data linked to it at any time, either in the app or, if you no longer have the app, by contacting us. You do not need to reinstall the app or log in to this website.
Before you delete: remaining coins and any unpaid earnings are forfeited when your account is deleted and cannot be restored or refunded. If you are a host, request any cash-out you are eligible for first.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open YooTalk and sign in.
- Go to Me → Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
Your account is deactivated straight away, so other people can no longer see your profile, and it is then deleted as described in the timeline below.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you have uninstalled YooTalk or cannot sign in:
- Email privacy@yootalk.live with the subject "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address linked to your account, or include the phone number you sign in with and your username.
- We will verify that the request comes from the account owner (for example, by sending a code to your phone number) and confirm by email.
Once we have verified the request, we deactivate the account and delete it on the same timeline as an in-app deletion.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, gender, age, country.
- Your login details (phone number or Google sign-in link) and device tokens.
- Your videos, photos, posts and comments, rooms you own (names, covers, announcements), followers and following, likes, watch and search history, and level.
- Identity documents you submitted, once they are no longer needed for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Your coin balance and unpaid earnings (forfeited).
What we keep, and for how long

Timeline
- Day 0: you request deletion. Your account is deactivated and your profile is hidden.
- Within 30 days: personal data is deleted or anonymised from our live systems, except the records listed above.
- Within 90 more days: it is gone from backups.
