YooTalk respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws elsewhere.
Filing a notice
If you believe content on YooTalk infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (details below) that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- identification of the infringing material and enough information to locate it (for example, the username, the video or post link, or the room name and time of a live stream);
- your contact information: name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
We may share your notice, including your name and contact details, with the user who posted the content.

Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which YooTalk may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Generally, an account that receives three valid copyright strikes is permanently banned.
Misuse
Knowingly making false claims in a notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages. Consider fair use and other exceptions before filing.
Trademarks and other IP
For trademark or other intellectual-property complaints, email support@yootalk.live with details of your rights and the content concerned.
