These Creator Earnings Terms ("Earnings Terms") explain how hosts can earn from the virtual gifts they receive on YooTalk and cash them out. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Earnings depend on the gifts you receive and are not guaranteed. Cash-out is available to eligible users aged 18+ in supported regions and is subject to our Creator Earnings Terms and identity verification.
1. No guarantee of income
YooTalk is not an employer and does not pay salaries, wages or guaranteed amounts. What you earn depends entirely on the gifts other users choose to send you. Many hosts earn little or nothing. Do not rely on YooTalk earnings as income.
2. How gifts become earnings
- Viewers buy coins and spend them to send you gifts while you host a room, go live, take part in a PK battle, or on your videos.
- Each gift has a coin value. When you receive a gift, that value is added to your earnings balance.
- Only gifts you receive count. Coins you buy have no cash value and can never be cashed out.
3. Eligibility for cash-out
To cash out you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- live in a country where cash-out is supported (shown in the app);
- complete identity verification, which may include a government ID and a selfie, and provide accurate payout details in your own name;
- be in good standing, with no active suspension or unresolved violation of the Community Guidelines.
4. Minimum and conversion rate
- The minimum cash-out is 10,000 coins of earnings balance.
- Your earnings balance is converted to money at the conversion rate shown in the app at the time you request a cash-out (currently 1,000 coins = US$1). We may change the rate; changes apply to requests made after the change.
5. Requesting a payout
- Request a cash-out in the app's wallet. Supported payout methods: bank transfer, PayPal and mobile money, depending on your region.
- The YooTalk team reviews every request before paying out, to check eligibility and prevent fraud. We aim to process requests within 7 business days of approval, but payment providers may take longer.
- Fees: payment providers or currency conversion may charge fees, which are deducted from the payout and shown before you confirm.
- We may ask for more information, and may delay or decline a request we reasonably believe is fraudulent or ineligible. We will tell you why where we are allowed to.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your earnings. Where the law requires, we may collect tax information, withhold tax, or report payments to tax authorities.
7. Fraud, chargebacks and forfeiture
The following lead to forfeiture of related earnings, and may lead to account suspension or a ban:
- self-gifting, using multiple accounts, or arranging for people to send you gifts with coins you pay them back for;
- gifts bought with stolen payment methods, or later refunded or charged back;
- bots, scripts or any manipulation of gifts, PK results or levels;
- earnings connected to a breach of the Terms or Community Guidelines;
- providing false identity or payout information.
We may reverse earnings already credited, or recover payouts already made, in these cases. If your account is deleted or terminated, any unpaid earnings are forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
8. PK battles
PK battles are entertainment. Gifts in a PK battle are support for a host and are treated exactly like any other gift. PK battles are not gambling, and no one wins money from the outcome of a battle.
9. Changes
We may change these Earnings Terms, including the minimum, rate, supported countries and methods. We will post changes here and notify hosts in the app before material changes take effect.
